Starting a resin art journey can feel overwhelming at first I know because I was there not too long ago I had no experience with epoxy no fancy equipment and no idea that it would eventually turn into something I could sell

In this post I want to share my full story from zero to sold in hopes that it inspires or helps you take the next step in your own creative path

Where It All Began

Like many others I first discovered resin art through social media Watching colors swirl and set into shiny pieces felt magical I ordered a beginner kit online and poured my first coaster at the kitchen table

It was sticky uneven and full of bubbles but I loved every minute of 

The Learning Curve

Over the next few weeks I made all the classic beginner mistakes I mixed the resin too fast I forgot gloves I ruined a few molds and spilled more than I’d like to admit

But I also learned

One day a friend messaged me asking to buy a tray I had posted That moment was unforgettable It was not just about the money it was proof that what I was making mattered to someone else

I packed the order carefully included a handwritten thank you and started dreaming about what else was possible

Soon after I made a few listings on Etsy and got my first few real 

What I Learned Going from Zero to Sold journey 

You do not need to be perfect to start

Mistakes are part of the process

Community support makes a huge difference

Your unique style is your greatest asset

Small wins build into bigger ones

Now I sell custom pieces online take commissions and even teach beginners what I wish I had known
