But Micheal’s life changed after a family tragedy

Michael ward was about four years old his father sadly passed away in a car accident

After that his mother made the big decision to move to the United Kingdom

They left Jamaica and settled in Romford which is in East London

This is where Micheal Ward really grew up and spent most of his life

Romford is known for being a busy working class area with a mix of cultures and influences

Growing up there gave Micheal that authentic London edge you can feel in his acting

He often says that Romford helped shape him into who he is today

Even though he was born in Jamaica he considers himself a proper East London boy at heart

Micheal went to school in the UK and started out with an interest in football and modelling
